🤍 How to Donate Your Dress 🤍
Thank you for your generosity!
Your gift to The Emma & Evan Foundation helps bring comfort, remembrance, and hope to grieving families and NICU families. We are deeply grateful for your support.
✨ Step 1: Get Your Donation Release Form
Fill out the short form at the bottom of this page.
When you submit it, you’ll receive an email containing:
-
Your Donation Release Form link
-
Complete instructions for sending your dress (including our mailing address)
Print the form and place the bottom portion inside your package (keep the top for your tax records).
✨ Step 1A: (Optional) Order Keepsakes
If you’d like custom keepsakes made from your own gown, place your order before mailing your dress at EveFoundation.org/shop.
Then:
-
Write your keepsake order number on your Donation Release Form. Without an order number, we cannot match your dress to your keepsake order. (Order #s are 5 digits long.)
-
Print the form and place the bottom portion inside your package (keep the top for your tax records).
-
Keepsakes are completed within 4–6 weeks after we receive your dress.
💡 Why Keepsakes Matter:
-
Provide over 90% of the funding for our mission
-
Make it possible to provide angel gowns and NICU graduation sets at no cost to families
-
We are the only angel gown organization to offer this option
📦 Step 2: Prepare Your Dress for Shipping
-
No tissue paper, bubble wrap, or packing peanuts — saves you money and helps the planet
-
Remove any preservation boxes and use a smaller shipping box
-
Safety pin the Donation Release Form inside the bodice — boxes can arrive damaged, and we are not responsible for lost forms
-
Do not use straight pins (ouch!)
-
Remove all straight pins before packing
🚚 Step 3: Ship Your Dress
-
Use a trusted carrier (PirateShip.com offers great rates)
-
Donor covers shipping costs
-
Do not select “signature required”
-
Save your tracking number to confirm delivery
-
If you're local to us, feel free to drop it by any time.
💝 Optional $35 Gift
It costs us about $35 to process each dress donation (cataloging, storage, and distribution to our seamstresses). Many donors choose to include a $35 tax-deductible gift to cover this cost and help us serve more families.
This is optional, but deeply appreciated! You can:
-
Enclose a check payable to The Emma & Evan Foundation
✅ Confirmation Policy
We send confirmation emails only if:
-
You have placed a keepsake order, or
-
You included a monetary donation
For all other donations, please use your tracking number to confirm delivery.
