💙 Mission Statement 💙

The Emma & Evan Foundation exists to honor every precious life by offering comfort, dignity, and compassion to families navigating both loss and hope. Through the generous support of our community, we provide Angel Gowns, and NICU Graduation Gowns to hospitals, birthing centers, funeral homes, and other care facilities across the United States—completely free of charge.

Each item is lovingly gifted to ensure that no moment, whether marked by grief or celebration, goes unrecognized. It is our mission to serve with tenderness, so that every family knows their child’s life matters.

Angel Gowns

Our angel gowns are offered free of charge to any facility, birthing center, funeral home, hospital in or outside of the United States.  We only ask that the facility pay for shipping.

Our angel gowns are lovingly made by volunteers from donated wedding dresses.

Our gowns are available in both genders as well as gender neutral and in 6 sizes.

  • Teeny Tiny (less than 1 lb.)

  • Micro Preemie (approx. 1–2 lbs.)

  • Tiny (approx. 2–3 lbs.)

  • Preemie (approx. 4–6 lbs.)

  • Newborn (approx. 6–8 lbs.)

  • Infant (approx. 9–12 lbs.)

There is a wide variety of styles; no two are the same

The gowns are open in the back and secure via ribbon ties or Velcro

We also offer angel pouches for infants too tiny for a gown.

If a hospital, birthing center, hospice home or funeral home in your area would benefit from our services, we’re happy to provide a customized package of gowns at no cost. We do our best to fulfill anticipated needs within 10 days and provide tracking information once the shipment is on its way.

All garments are lovingly handmade and always offered free of charge.

We believe every child who leaves this earth should be clothed with dignity, respect and beauty. These gowns are likely the only clothing this child will ever wear; baptism/dedication, prom, wedding and funeral garments all in one very special angel gown.

Sometimes sad stories have happy endings, and we believe happy endings should always be celebrated!

That’s why we are so excited to announce the expansion of the Emma & Evan Foundation’s services to include the newly designed NICU Graduates program, which has been made possible by all of your generous support.

NICU Graduates will provide graduation gowns, caps, and hand-crafted afghans or quilts – completely free of charge – to families and their new additions that are leaving the NICU with stories of success.

All NICU graduates will receive:

  • A preemie-sized graduation gown in white or ivory

  • A matching graduation cap

  • A matching afghan or a quilt

.......all made from a donated wedding dress

NICU graduation pieces will be lovingly hand-crafted by our team of volunteer seamstresses using materials sourced from donated wedding dresses.

We hope that these infant-sized graduation gowns, caps, and keepsake baby quilts help families mark the joyous homecoming occasion while celebrating their new baby’s new life.

While we continue to focus on supporting families who are grieving the loss of an infant with Angel Gowns, each day at the Emma & Evan Foundation, we also look for new ways to strengthen our cause while bringing dignity to sorrow and honoring the blessings and joys of family.

If you'd like to have NICU graduation sets in your local hospital, please reach out to us via email at emmaandevangowns@gmail.com.  We'll respond with a letter to share with your local facility introducing our organization and how we can help them.

It’s with this reverence for family, that we hope you will join us and the families graduating from the NICU in gratitude and joy by offering your continued support of our ever-growing mission and our NICU Graduates program.

2025 Cuddle Cot Mission: Giving Families the Gift of Time

Our Goal for 2025
In 2025, the Emma and Evan Foundation is embarking on a heartfelt mission to place Cuddle Cots in small, rural hospitals across the country. These Cuddle Cots will provide grieving families the precious gift of time to say goodbye to their little ones in their own way and at their own pace.
By equipping hospitals with Cuddle Cots, we hope to create a compassionate space where families can process their loss and honor their baby's life with dignity and love.

What is a Cuddle Cot?
A Cuddle Cot is a specialized cooling system that slows the natural changes after a baby has passed, allowing families to stay with their baby longer. This additional time is invaluable for creating memories, taking photographs, and finding closure.

Why This Mission Matters
Every year, thousands of families face the unimaginable heartbreak of losing a baby. The moments they have with their child are fleeting and precious.

A Cuddle Cot offers these families:
-More Time Together: Extending the precious moments to bond, grieve, and say goodbye.
-A Space for Healing: Providing comfort during an incredibly difficult time.
-Support for Families: Helping hospitals better serve grieving parents.

How We're Going to do This

We will be reaching out to companies to request grants.
But we can’t achieve this mission alone.

Here’s how you can get involved:
*Donate:
Every dollar counts. A donation of $2,950 can sponsor an entire Cuddle Cot for a hospital in need, but even smaller contributions bring us closer to our goal.

*Spread the Word:
Share our mission on social media, within your community, and with local hospitals. Use the hashtag #CuddleCotMission2025 to join the movement.

In Your Own Community:
Kindly reach out to your local hospitals to inquire if they currently have one or may need one. We’d greatly appreciate it if you could share their response with us. Thank you!

*Volunteer:
Help us raise awareness, organize events, or connect with hospitals to bring Cuddle Cots to areas where they are needed most.
